I recently followed Dr. Hulda Clark’s protocol for Liver/Gallbladder cleanse, which involves a ton of apple juice, epson salt, olive oil, and grapefruit. I followed the protocol, but experienced moderate pain in my side, back, and joints afterward. I repeated the cleanse, thinking maybe I had clogged a bile duct. The pain still remains. I have been drinking alot of water, and made myself a green drink today. I am in pain, what is going on? I can’t afford to visit the doc right now- please only answer if you have experienced/overseen this sort of cleanse, and can suggest something other than going to the doctor. Thanks.
Update: While the pain was lessening during the last few days, I was still experiencing moderate pain laying in bed each night. I finally went to the ER last night, to find out if I was truly ok. After a CT scan, blood work, and urine analysis, it was determined that the amount of epson salt I took was too much for my kidneys, and I have been experiencing mild toxicity. It has lessened each day, since I had been flushing with green drink and water. My organ enzyme levels and sizes showed completely normal in size, and without infection. After receiving effective pain medication, I was finally able to feel the spasm in my lower back that was keeping me in pain each time I lay down. Doc said more than likely this was suddenly brought on by magnesium toxicity. This was all determined by medical testing, and a day-by-day symptom recall. BUT…
