Are liver cleanses healthy?
For the last 5 months I have been having stomach issues and I’m set to go in for a gall bladder check up in a few days. Well a family who is into the natural medicines has told me to do a liver cleanse…I’m just wondering…are they healthy or is it hard on your system?
also I am a college student and have a meal plan…there isn’t much to choose from in a college cafeteria

The best way to cleanse your body, is to feed it healthy foods. Stay away from fried foods and empty calories. Try to eat foods in their natural state. If you still have stomach issues, you can drink a tablespoon of vinegar, if you can’t bring yourself to drink vinegar, eat a pickle, just suck the juice out of the pickle. Vinegar will reduce the acid in your stomach and calm it. I eat hamburger chip pickles everyday, while I am having issues, then for a couple days after wards to keep my stomach from going into stress. Vinegar will also do it’s part in cleansing your body, just remember no fried foods and try to stay away from unhealthy fats.
I was having lots of stomach issues and went from every change in my diet, this is what is working for me adn I have been symtom free now for about 2 months, I had suffered for 2 years before getting any relief.
They are really good. But there are tons of different ways to go about it and some can be harsh. Just do it easy and back off if you start feeling bad, and maybe take half of whatever pills you are doing, or do it every other day. You know its too harsh if you get a really bad headache or get nauseated, which are signs that your liver is dumping toxins too quickly. But in general liver cleanses can help a lot. There is a special gall bladder cleanse too. I think it involves apple juice and olive oil. Look it up online. Its supposed to get rid of gallstones.
