Will a drug test comes back positive if my room mate smokes weed?
My room mate smokes weed in our house in his room, I don’t smoke. He does it in his room with the door closed, I always spray air freshener when I smell it and I just stay in my room. Could a drug test come back positive on me?
I recently donated a kidney to my brother.
Although the transplant itself was paid for by my brothers insurance, I did incur quite a few expenses, including travelling to the hospital (in a city 150 miles away), taking days off for tests, hotel acommodation for my significant other for the week I was in the hospital, the 2 months I had to take of work (not eligible for a dime of unemployment or disability) all that….
I know that most states allow for a 10,000 deduction for that.
Does the IRS have a similar deduction?

I am 14 weeks pregnant. Have had pain in my left side since Friday, around my kidney area. I’ve already called my doctor yesterday and he didn’t do anything because I don’t have any symptoms of a kidney infection. I called back today, and waiting for them to call me back. To see if they want me to go for tests and possibly a sonogram of the kidney to check for stones. If by chance I do have a kidney stone, how is that treated during pregnancy?

My chemistry teacher told me years ago that due to the oxalate in spinach, you can get kidney stones from eating too much. I can imagine that you’d have to eat a lot of spinach for this to even happen. Am I wrong?
