I’ve been feeling sluggish and I know it’s due to weather change and me not working out as much. Everything I do eat bothers me to some extent as well. I was on a BCP called Yaz to regulate my cycles and it elevated my liver enzymes - now I’m trying to lower that back to normal. (i stopped taking Yaz- dangerous side -effects)

I need a good liver cleanse and overall detox. Also, how old should a person be before considering a colon cleanse?
I did not know that. so why are so many on the market FDA approved? shouldn’t they be illegal?

In the last month I have noticed a problem after certain food I eat or certain items I drink. I ate a salad and a hamburg and like 15 minutes later my chest (in the middle of my chest) started to get painfull….then a few weeks ago I had pizza and a Smirinoff Ice (my favorite drink) and the same thing happened. Then tonight I had salad and and a piece of chicken and Smirnoff Ice and 15 minutes later my chest started to hurt again. I am thinking this may be my Gall Bladder, but my husband said it quite possibly can be gas (acid build up etc), but I have NEVER had this happen to me and I don’t understand why all of a sudden it just shows up! HELP!

I am a published author, working on a book on dieting. As part of it, I am looking to test various weight loss methods. I obviously will give the typical strategies a go (the Atkins, the Liver Cleansing, Jenny Craig etc). What are some other ways to lose weight that I can try?

Any tested possibilities will get credited in the book… I will pay particular attention to any that you yourself have tried (regardless of if they have worked or not!)

I had my gall bladder removed 4 years ago, it had gang- green in it. I have had problems with loose stools, with certain type of foods like lettuce, anything that has any grease in it, within minutes I will have to find a bathroom and if I do not it is not good—-accident. I am so tired of the stuff, it turns me off of food. The foods I love I can not eat any more. Sometime I will not know if what I am going to eat will bother me. I would like to know if this is normal or if it is just me. I had my surgery the hard way, that they split my stomach open.

I had my gall bladder removed 1 1/2 years ago. Lately, I really have a lot of stomach upset, gas, and nausia. I am a 64 year old woman in good health but this has me puzzled. If it is because of the removal of the gall bladder, is there anything I can take to neutralize the gas? HELP!

I am doing a liver cleanse w/ hot water and lemon. During this cleanse- I am not drinking any alcohol, no motrin, tylenol, etc…
My questions:

1. Is it okay that I only drink 3 cups of coffee throughout the day, will it interfer w/ the cleanse?

2. I’ve been getting pain/soreness in my lower back since I started the cleanse. Is that from the toxins in my body?

I am not using any other herbs. I heard that hot water and lemon are just as good from a Naturopath.

I don’t think 3 cups of coffee is a lot. Is it? It’s not like I’m getting 3 big cups from Starbucks or anything. Its mostly literally 3 8oz cups.

Ok I am going to the DR tomorrow, i think I am having gall bladder attcks. I have been thinking that I was just having pain in my back, but I noticed that I have pain right underneath my ribcage that radiates through my chest, and around to my back across the middle and shoulder blade. And this doesnt hurt all day and it starts hurting like 4 or 5 in the evening. I have not been getting sick though just in pain.
Does this sound like a gall bladder attack???

I’m beginning a two month Colon/ Parasite and Toxic Cleanse tomorrow (Coloinix and ToxinOut sold Dr.Natura). Followed by a Liver Flush (recipe by : Hulda Regehr Clark, Ph.D., N.D. found in her book "The Cure for all Diseases" Copyright 1995) which I will repeat 10 to fifteen times in two week intervels. I want to know if any of you (especially girls/ woman) have completed these cleanses and have had results. I’ve been getting attacks of pain under my rib cage on the right side after I eat, and it radiates into my back at times. It’s usually daily.. it also feels as if I can’t swallow. Nausea is present as well. Any suggestions what it could be? I’m going for an Endoscopy next week, and an ultra sound of my liver and gall bladder the following. Does this sound Gall Bladder related?
