That is the same thing I have. With my IBS I usually have constipation so I started eating more fiber and increased my water intake and it help greatly. I have tried sticking to a better diet (limited fast food, fried foods,) and it also helped. I also reduced my stress.
Have you been tested for other conditions? I had an upper GI tract done and found out I also had a small problem with acid reflux.
Usually after two days it clears up and I’m good for a few months (if I’m lucky).
If you suffer from diarrhea you can take a Imodium with the bentyle.
Google fasting and ibs. Eat fruit for 4 days then drink a gallon of distilled water for 19 days. Break the fast with fruit or fruit smoothies for 4 days. The digestive tract can heal itself if you give it a rest. If you take medicine it’ll will never go away.
I was having issues for a while that I self diagnosed as IBS based on what I read online. I basically started eating more fiber and that helped a bit, but when my job started getting more stressful, I had to try something else. I ended up trying ReNew Life’s IBS product. It helped out a bit. I went into my WholeFoods and they suggested I take RNLs Bowel Soother as well. It seemed to work for me. I just take it now when I know I am getting stressed at work, which is when I seem to get the worst….uhm….episodes!
