Gall bladder?
Ok I am going to the DR tomorrow, i think I am having gall bladder attcks. I have been thinking that I was just having pain in my back, but I noticed that I have pain right underneath my ribcage that radiates through my chest, and around to my back across the middle and shoulder blade. And this doesnt hurt all day and it starts hurting like 4 or 5 in the evening. I have not been getting sick though just in pain.
Does this sound like a gall bladder attack???

Yes!
I just had mind removed 4 weeks ago. They can do an ultrasound to see the stones in your gall bladder, just request it.
The nerves around your gall bladder run through your spine, which explains the back pain.
You have attacks at night, becuase thats when your metabolism slows down and starts to process the foods.
stop eating fatty foods, (especially fries, pizza, burgers) untill you get the bladder removed.
I had my Gall Bladder out…sorry just one attack and huge stone. Could be, or possibly just a pinched nerve or gastric problem…good you are checking it out
Oh man I do that too, my pain gets so bad sometimes that i feel like i am going to pass out. One time i had to go to the hospital it hurt so bad, and i kept thinking i was gonna pass out in the car on the road. it was horrible. they gave me morphine with phenegren and the pain went away almost immediately, but came back 2 hours later. the doctor couldnt find gallstones, and sent me home with a prescription for dicyclomine for my IBS, and I told him that this was not IBS, that it had to be something else, but he didn’t seem to think so. anyways, I noticed that it happens after I eat or drink certain things, like bananas or this stuff called Barley green, and if I eat too many potato chips, and also if i take ibuprofen for too long. staying away from these things seems to help, but every now and then i discover something else that I need to add to that list. Look at your diet and see if there is a pattern somehow. also, if you have been pregnant recently, that may be a reason you are having the pain, mine seems to start a couple of months after I have had a baby, and then go away when I am pregnant, only to happen again after I have the baby. it sucks, hope you have better luck than I did. let me know if you find anything out.
the epigastric pain that you have and the radiation through to you back between shoulder blades is actually pretty common for gallbladder pain. You may notice that it is worst when you’ve eaten either something very fatty or greasy. You won’t always be nauseated with your gallbladder pain, but it can happen. The MD can order several tests to see if this is the problem all of which are pain free, they will tell you if it is a actual gallstone that is causing the problem or if in fact your gallbladder is not working correctly and needs to be removed.
