The most natural detox is a diet based one. Usually a detox means cleansing your liver so anything that is toxic to your liver should obviously be avoided, like alcohol and caffeine. The right food choices will detox you in 8 weeks.
Food choices are important because certain foods clog the liver and reduce its fat burning function, while other foods cleanse it and increase fat burning function. The liver cleansing diet lasts for 8 weeks but the principles of the diet can be adhered to for life. This diet allows you to eat well but just has some restrictions.
It requires that you eliminate red meat, animal fats, dairy, all processed food and anything containing additives. Replace that with fresh fish/seafood (not fried), some lean chicken, lots of vegetables (raw is better), salads and fruit, wholemeal bread, pasta and rice. Drink lots of water and if you can make a fresh raw vegie juice each morning then the process will speed up.
If you’re interested to try it there is more detailed information and an example diet plan in the links below. Best wishes.
why don’t you give Jebus a call and ask him
if you want to detox your body then you have to stop drinkin and smoking. try jackie chan’s green tea it’s full of antioxidants and it’s really good. also increase your fiber intake, if you dont think you eat enought fibers then take fiber supplements. if you absolutely have to drink then limit it to 2 small drinks a week NOT 2 episodes of drinking a week.
Cranberry Juice, Niacin pills, and lots and lots of water. The Niacin is also found in Red Bull. It’s a body cleanser in it’s own. Cranberry Juice grabs all that excess. Do this for a few days until you urinate clear. And your cleansed.
For a full body detox you can do the Master Cleanse.
Eat nothing.
Drink the mixture of Organic maple syrup and lemon juice, filtered water and cayanne pepper.
take a warm uniodized salt water bath in the mornings and a gentle laxative tea at night.
Look it up.
It does wonders.
FRUIT
Always go for an assortment of colors and make sure your fridge is always stocked with fresh fruit. I typically shop for seasonal fruit from a quality perspective and cost perspective. If you can, go for local and organically grown produce.
Examples are apples, grapes, bananas, kiwi, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, mango, oranges, tangerines, and pineapple.
GREEN TEA
Go for the one with out any extra flavoring or fillers. An organic green tea without any extra herbs is the best.
VEGETABLES
If you know which aisle the chips and cookies are better than where the fresh produce section is then we have some work to do. You should be able to pick your vegetables from your local food market with your eyes closed. This should be the one section in the grocery store you are more familiar with than any other. Here are your staples: spinach, broccoli, peppers, asparagus, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, cucumbers, celery and carrots. Try and aim for the colors of the rainbow – the more variety the better.
stop drinking caffine and smoking and drink alot of h20
Yeah, for a real detox you would have to stop drinking alchohol entirely, because alcohol is basically a bunch of pretty unhealthy toxins, stopping smoking is also VERY important. In fact, it may be even more important than stopping alcohol intake.
Caffine is not as harmful to the body as the two above mentioned things, but it will help. Also, eating TONS of fruits and vegatables, and drinking green tea will be really beneficial. If you are serious about detoxing your body then you have to give up a lot of things you normally enjoy, but thats the only way it will really work.
I would just suggest you cut down on things that are unhealthy (like drinking alcohol) and quitting smoking. Try focusing on eating healthier and drinking lots of water too, but you don’t have to live a completely achohol free life, just remember, moderation is the key
Good luck! I am trying something similar.
Caffine and alcohol pass through your system within hours. A glass of wine a day isn’t a bad thing and is considered healthy.
Cigarette smoking effects, however, can take years to reverse or eliminate.
Lots of water (8 8oz glasses a day) and don’t eat anything that comes in a box. Avoid junk food and soda. Quit smoking and start exercising. Preferably running — if you exercise chances are you’ll be able to sweat out a lot of toxins that have been trapped in your skin for years and this will speed your body’s detox.
Bowtrol is one of the most popular natural herbal colon cleanse product. On the source page you’ll find links to two free trial offers (if you live in US, UK or Canada). Hope this helps
