How to cure constipation and weight gain from it?

I am 23 years old and since I got pregnant with my daughter I have had constipation and started gain weight, I did what the doctor said and it hasn’t helped, so recently I bouhg the OTC Miralax does this stuff really work and what else can I do to help with the constipation?

Constipation occurs when a person defecates less than three times a week. Constipation can happen to anyone – even when there is no sign of another illness. Regular exercise routine

i had to constipation at the start of my pregnancy too, you have to eat a diet high in fibre – sultana bran cereal, apricots, fibre biscuits, high fibre milk etc
ignore the idiot recommending coke and basically all that can be suggested is to have a diet high in fibre. Eat fruit, vegetables and have bran flakes every morning- you’ll never stop!congratulations !x
the last thing you do before you go to bed is eat an grapefruit and nothing else not even water until breakfast
A high fiber diet is very important, but you have to drink a lot of water in conjunction with it- otherwise the fiber will become like glue in your intestines and bloat you even more.
Another thing is to try eating foods that don’t bloat- in other words, less salt.
