It is safe. I haven’t done one myself, but I have a lot of friends that have done the lemon cleanse with the salt water mixture. I think it would be a good thing to do too. My friend did it for 10 days, and she lost 15 pounds doing it, she lead the lemon concoction tasted pretty good, and she never felt hungry. After she finished the diet, she felt better and more refreshed. Here’s a website that talks about it more.

Well there are several different ones out there that I’ve seen, however, all of them are completely unnecessary.
You may wonder why I say that, seeing as it’s a pretty big hype in the diet world right now and their information is very convincing, but the truth is, YOU DON’T NEED IT. toxins don’t build up in your body…your digestive system doesn’t work that way…it simply keeps what can be useful to the body and excretes what is not.
Most detox diets don’t include all of the nutrients your body needs and can be quite harmful in the end. If you’re just trying to lose weight, there are much healthier ways to do that rather than "detoxifying" your body.
Here is a really good diet for anyone who wants to lose weight without feeling hungry.

Here is a really good short article that tells you some of the best and safest ways to detoxify your body. Cheers,
