i started this detox on saturday, today is wednesday with no noticeable changes yet, well i lost 2 lbs but i’m doin weight watchers since jan 08!!! 3st 10lb so far…. thought this detox would help with last few pounds!!! feeling good so far, was expecting cramps and alot of toilet trips but nothin yet!!! drink alot of water everyday, dont drink tea or coffee and haven’t drank alcohol in a month!! just wondering if any one can help me. should i have noticed a change yet or is it working?? thanks!!!

i got put on probation in late march, and i havent done any form of drugs since that time. however, before being put on probation i smoked marijuana heavily. my first drug test is on wednesday, and i think my system is completly clean, but if its not can i still get in trouble even though i havent done any drugs since i got put on probation? and also, i drink a lot, is alcohol in a probation drug test, or is the test only for drugs?

My father has been in the hospital for almost two weeks because his liver has failed due to alcohol (alcoholic hepatitis). The doctors say there is not much they can do so we’ve been giving him alternative medicines like Goji berry juice and lemonade cleanse (lemon juice, maple syrup and Cayenne pepper). Does anyone know if these things could have an adverse effect on his health?
Thank you for your opinion Gary, the doctor told us he can’t give us his professional opinion on these things because he has no training on them, though he did say it’s okay to try them. So I guess we’re just reaching for the stars.

Ok, so i have a drug test tomorrow at 11am. About a week ago i bought a detox kit called Detox Value Pack. On the back it says to avoid all toxins up to 48 hours prior to having to take your drug test. Obviously i want to pass so i haven’t smoked marijuana (the reason i have to drug test) or drank any alcohol. The only thing im worried about is im a cigarette smoker too and it didn’t even cross my mind that that’d probably be considered a "toxin". I smoked a cigarette just an hour ago (under 24 hours till my drug test). If anyone has any experience with these detox drinks can you tell me if this is going to affect me passing this drug test? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Cigs did not affect my result, the detox drink worked in 1 hour. I took the pill it came with, drank the drink and i passed this morning! Oh and the guy who said drink lots of water was wrong, back of the drink said not to do that, just to drink your usual amount to stay hydrated. Which i did, and passed.

I had a drink about 6 days ago and I had to take a drug test today. I only had one drink and it wasn’t strong. Mike’s Hard Lemonade with 5% alcohol. Is it possible for this to show up on the drug test?

Does anyone know if you can drink alcohol if you are taking 6 Merchaptopurine if you have Ulcerative Colitis? Alos I am currently in a "flare up" so my dosage went up a little bit. I use to drink and it didnt do any damage I’m just wondering if this little increase from 50mg to 75mg would have a negative effect? Thanks

A friend of mine had a heart transplant 8 years ago, and she just received a kidney. she is 20 years old. If she lives a healthy lifestyle without smoking, alcohol, gets good excercise, and keeps up with doctor appointments every few months and medicine, how long can she live for? It scares me when i read that a heart transplant recipient can expect to live up to 5 years after the surgery! she’s lived 8 years, and she is doing very well. But what can be expected?

I’ve been partying and drinking too much this summer and recently cut out alcohol for a bit. I want to do a fast/liver cleanse and have heard that Acai berry is a good antioxidant.

Is it safe to use Acai berry while you are fasting? Does anyone have any recommendations of fast/cleanses ?

I’m not interested in losing weight – I am in a healthy BMI range. I am using Acai berry only for it’s antioxidant purposes. Also, I don’t need to hear how unsafe fasts are or how disgusting drinking is, or how irresponsible and derelict it is to drink heavily for a few months and then starve yourself to rid your body of it’s toxins. I am doing a liver cleanse w/ hot water and lemon. During this cleanse- I am not drinking any alcohol, no motrin, tylenol, etc…
My questions:

1. Is it okay that I only drink 3 cups of coffee throughout the day, will it interfer w/ the cleanse?

2. I’ve been getting pain/soreness in my lower back since I started the cleanse. Is that from the toxins in my body?

I don’t think 3 cups of coffee is a lot. Is it? It’s not like I’m getting 3 big cups from Starbucks or anything. Its mostly literally 3 8oz cups.

I got a drug test coming up, and on the list of drugs they are checking for alcohol is on the list.Which is extremely weird. And i did have 2 bottle coors lites two nights ago. So just wondering how long before it leaves your system?
