I have IBS for well over 10 years when I was ill in early summer. At first, I thought & feared that I may have colitis again ( I was stricken with it before after having salmonella (food) poisoning from working at Colby College in 1988). I was in agony for nearly 3 months until my personal doctor gave me the correct diagnosis. I still suffer from constipation & occasional diarrhea almost daily Got any ideas?

My mom found out yesterday that she has polyps on her gall bladder. We’ve heard of them on the colon & such, but not on the gall bladder. What do they do to treat this? She also has melanoma (all problem areas have been removed). Could this be a connection with that? She has some pain associated with them, and she even had an attack of sorts a few months ago. Any advice would be appreciated.

I had my gall bladder removed a year ago & I have these really sharp, painful pains like something is burning and cutting me. My surgeon and Gastroenteritis doctors keep telling me they don’t know why I’m having these problems. Has anyone had this problem?
I forgot to mention that my family doctor done a complete liver profile work up on me and my test results were great.

About 2 weeks ago I asked about constipation in cats & what to do.Someone said to give 1ml of mineral oil 3 to 4 days. After spending a bit of money at the vet I decided to try the suggestion and adjusted the amount to the weight of my cat the way they would if he were to get medication. I would like that person to know it worked "Thank You".He was pretty sick, not eating or drinking and is doing much better. The vet was trying to fix it from the wrong end!

I’m working on getting back into shape & my mother bought me some Fiber Colon Cleanse. Now I Already know what it does but I just can’t get pass the taste of it, I’ve only been able to drink it once without almost bringing it back up along with everything else in my stomach. What can I do to make it taste better or just able to just get it passed my tongue cause once its passed my tongue I can keep it down.

How do you deal with this disease? Does yours become painful? How much does stress play a role with illness. Flair-ups do you get any warning sighns or does it just move into bleeding & mucus. Or do you just go by a change in bowl movements? Teenager just diagnosed with it.

What type of natural herbs, essences etc could be used to help reduce and cleanse his liver? He is eating & drinking but has lost weight. The vet did a blood work up and everything was fine except the liver. He had a normal reading a year ago. He also has IBS. Can those two be linked?

My mom talked me into doing this Colon Cleanse with her. You just take a pill packed with Herbs & Fibers….& it does it’s job. Well, I’ve been taking it for 3 days. Today I got cramps & tonight I noticed blood in my stool. & I’m not talking about strings of blood…..a lot of blood. For those of you that HAVE done a cleanse……
