Okay, so you know how in the Diet&Fitness section we get all those spam answers about how to "lose weight"? Y’know, the ones that go "I lost weight doing such and such, click here to find out more!!" (by the way, acai berry does NOT burn fat, it’s just filled with antioxidants…at least, that’s what my research says…I’ve been drinking pomegranate/acai berry juice for years and have not lost a single calorie because of it..It just tastes good to me).

So anyway, I came across one that said, "I cleansed my colon and lost weight!!" (more or less.)

What I want to know is, HOW in the HELL is that related to weight loss? And anyway, isn’t it incredibly dangerous to get a colon cleansing? I heard that it results in all kinds of problems, including getting a bad case of the runs.
Lol ironic how I’m blasting the "colon spam" and yet I get one of those spam answers here. Anyway, yeah, I just never understood how POOPING had anything to do with losing body fat. Hell, if I could lose weight by taking a dump, I’d be a supermodel right now.

I know you can buy do it yourself kits but I cannot afford those at all.
I was thinking I’d use a syringe, some lubricant, warm water & some aloe vera juice from my plant &/or (as my Dr recommended) some soap. With professionally done colonic irrigation the water is pumped in as well as the reverse but I have no way of doing the reverse, any cheap ideas ? do I even need bother with the reverse ? I admit I’ve done it before but it is uncomfortable as the syringe must be huge otherwise not enough water fits in it & even then you’ve got to keep refilling the syringe & reinserting (not pleasant) but better than the alternative of having a hard pain full poo stuck there, I swear I was close to calling an ambulance at times but didn’t out of embarrassment & thank gowd as it did painfully pass after some time (fk the pain). I’ve tried the liquid medication the Dr gave me for constipation & it tastes worse than shit (not that I’d know perhaps shit would taste better lol) & I’ve gotta drink way more than prescribed, the dr won’t give me the pill version as it’s not on the medicare list & the suppository’s actually sting so I figure that can’t be good. I hope this makes sense & to get some good advice. Hey & any toilet humor, at least make it funny ey.

I’ve read on many websites as well as in the official Master Cleanse book that you can skip the maple syrup part of the cleanse…but has anyone done this before? & has it made you unable to do the cleanse for long periods of time? Without the maple syrup it seems like not a lot of calories and vitamins you’re taking in everyday. Also, do I have to take the herbal laxative tea twice a day or can I just take it once at night?

um, joe…the lemonade diet is for detoxing your body, & it just so happens that you lose weight on it; I doubt that eating baby food removes toxins from your system. congrats on being "better than thou", though.

I’m only 16 and I’ve been having trouble with kidney stones. I was hospitalized twice in the last month for them, this last time (yesterday) I was in the worst pain I have ever experienced. I have two kidney stones which I have not passed, and I only had one the first time I was hospitalized.

I have a 26 day old son and he suffers from what i believe to be constipation. He only stools once a day if not every 2 days. I believe its constipation because a few hours before he does poop,he gets fussy,cries a lot ( he only cries before pooping) and nothing i do comforts him.He feels better & stops crying and smiles again right after he poops.
