I’ve been taking Colon Cleansing Pills for several days now because my friend suggested that I start cleaning my colon out, since it contains so much "crap" that can turn your body into a toxic mine. Anyway, I’ve taken them since last Friday, becuase the bottle says to take 4 capsules 3 times a day, I can’t scarf that many down so I just take 4 in the evening after dinner, but on Sunday I forgot to take them so I didn’t have a bowel movement on Monday and I took them Monday after dinner and I didn’t have a bowel movement right after I woke up like I normally do, I had one about and hour after I got into work and then 45 minutes after that one; is this normal for colon cleansing pills? Should I stop taking them? I want to clean my colon and become regular again, I eat lots of fiber, but it seems that it doesn’t help much on it’s own.

I know a little bit about colon cleansing and the facts on colon cleansing and what it does to improve your health, but has anyone ever done a colon cleanse and if so, what is best product and most affordable one out there that works? I am just curious to if a clogged colon is responsible for all sorts of problems like foggy memory, lack of energy, irregular bowels and not having a bowel movement everyday, lack of concentration, mood swings, as well as a pop belly when you aren’t exactly that much overweight. Those symptoms represent me and I was wondering if doing a colon cleanse regimen would make me feel like a whole new person and give me energy and strength to go work out in a gym and build up my muscles. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A friend wants to buy the colon cleansing advertised on TV by this sleazy looking guy and woman in a sequened jacket. My fried says they stated John Wayne had ?? pounds of bowel in his colon when he died…. good lord…. any comments?

I was heavily constipated as a child, and even now sometimes struggle to have one bowel movement a week. I’ve started to have more fibre, fresh veg and loads of water, but I’m worried there’s a ‘backlog’ of excrement inside me, possibly years old, that will stay and poison me unless i flush it out.

Do I need my colon cleansed or will a high fiber diet alone clean my insides? Do home cleansing kits work? What about colonic irrigation? Whats the best option for someone with a low budget?
i’m also kind of sceptical the craze of colon cleansing is just a huge con. i don’t think one of the leading brands, blessedherbs, has even been approved by the FDA.

I have been having bowel movement problems since I was a teen. I thought it was because of the way I ate (and still do). However, recently I have been reading up on diets and diet pills and found some websites about colon cleansing…I am think of trying a program called "Colonix" because I feel so miserable sometimes, especially after eating. I feel bloated and sluggish. Does anybody know if this program is worth the money and could someone tell me if colon cleansing is really beneficial?

i’m starting cleanstart colon cleansing program. and i’m wondering if it will help me loss 15 to 30 pounds by august. it’s a 14 day (2 weeks) program and although i’m also doing it for the internal benefits, it would be amazing to loss a few pounds.

I eat a lot of fiber and drink alot of water and I do have a bowel movement every day but it’s these thin long strips. If I miss one day of the heavy fiber cereal either i don’t have a bm or it’s a very small one consisting of pellets and clumps. Seems that my colon is full of dried up impacted fecal matter, how do i get rid of it? And to those that don’t believe in the theory of colon cleansing, how exactly do you explain spastic constipation?

I have heard a person can be carrying around 20lbs of unnecessary weight and that it can be eliminated by a colon cleansing. Is it the same thing as an enema?
i don’t mean to lose body fat, I mean it is just crap you don’t need. I was refering to weight as a way to measure the extra crap.

I’ve seen those infomercials for colon cleansing where they claim if you use the products, ropes of built-up "gunk" coating the insides of your colon will come out.

My first question is, do any of these actually work or it is just a bunch of propaganda?

My second question is, if this does work, which one would you all suggest is the best product?

Okay, so you know how in the Diet&Fitness section we get all those spam answers about how to "lose weight"? Y’know, the ones that go "I lost weight doing such and such, click here to find out more!!" (by the way, acai berry does NOT burn fat, it’s just filled with antioxidants…at least, that’s what my research says…I’ve been drinking pomegranate/acai berry juice for years and have not lost a single calorie because of it..It just tastes good to me).

So anyway, I came across one that said, "I cleansed my colon and lost weight!!" (more or less.)

What I want to know is, HOW in the HELL is that related to weight loss? And anyway, isn’t it incredibly dangerous to get a colon cleansing? I heard that it results in all kinds of problems, including getting a bad case of the runs.
Lol ironic how I’m blasting the "colon spam" and yet I get one of those spam answers here. Anyway, yeah, I just never understood how POOPING had anything to do with losing body fat. Hell, if I could lose weight by taking a dump, I’d be a supermodel right now.

It’s a 2-day liquid formula and the GNC dude said it would clean out my boyfriend’s and my liver, blood, and colon. Well, isn’t something supposed to come out? If anything, I haven’t been able to poop at all. Sorry for the crudeness. We asked him about a colon cleansing pill that makes everything come out in the toilet but he said if thats what we wanted then we should do this instead. Well, it’s been 2 days of drinking the 2-day bottles and nothing is happening to either one of us. What’s the hold up? Or is it a bad product? Everyone has recommended it so i assumed the sh*t would work.
