Detox And Cleanse Your Colon For Health And Long Life
On Thursday I have a colonoscopy and today and tomorrow I’m in a strict diet I can’t eat no solid food. What can I eat today and tomorrow besides jello?
I am a 30 year old woman. For the past few months I have had the following symptoms:
constipation alternating with diarrhea
fatigue
lower abdominal pain
slight traces of blood on toilet paper after wiping
I have an appt for a consultation with a surgeon on Monday. He will be setting me up for a colonoscopy. I was just wondering what were some of your results and symptoms. My grandma had colon cancer and my dad had colon polyps.
I’ve been having several tests done on me, trying to figure out what’s wrong with my stomach and bowels and stuff. My gastroenterologist has been absolutely positive that I suffer from IBS. It is not caused by food or food allergies. Even drinking a bottle of water bloats my stomach to the point of looking pregnant.
He suspected that stress and depression are what is causing it, and sent me to a therapist. I’ve been seeing her for months without any improvement.
I finally had my endoscopy and colonoscopy done, only to find out that physically, I am perfectly fine. My doctor told me the only way to deal with the Irritable Bowel Syndrome is to deal with the depression.
I’ve been prescribed Xanax and Prozac to deal with this. I’ve only been on it for about a week, and I know that I shouldn’t expect any improvements so soon, but I guess I was just wondering if anyone else was suffering from this, and if anything helped them at all… I’m just worried that I’m going to be stuck this way.
I have a colleague who’s odour is terrible, I want to tell him, but someone said he might have a colonoscopy bag because the smell sometimes is like wee and poo rather than always B.O. I dont want to embarass him, so how can I tell if he has one or not? He always takes a carrier bag into the loo with him- is this a sign? Please help!
Why can’t you have any red or purple dyed liquids/gelatins before a colonoscopy?

I have severe reactions to laxatives that leave me in immense pain. I have had to cancel my colonoscopy twice because I can’t do the prep laxatives. There must be something else I can do? The doctors office only suggested fasting for several days?? Gotta be something more gentle out there I can do??
I also had a beefy 5 layer burrito, those cinnamon twists from there and I was eating an Edy’s strawberry popsicle and unfortunately ate like two or three pieces of a strawberry. Know especially that I’m not supposed to eat raw fruits so is this going to really, really affect my colonoscopy? Or any of these foods? Thank you.
Especially if it’s a bright red color? Wouldn’t you think it’s only hemmoroids and nothing more?
My wife does.. But she told me she felt kind of sore for a couple of days in her rectal area after bleeding though.
She’s thinking of cancelling her colonoscopy because she does not see any more blood.
i’m about to start a diet with no red meat, just fish, grain, fruits and vegetables. For a while I’ve been feeling "irregular" and I’ve been eating a decent amount of fiber every day. What is the best way (besides a colonoscopy) to cleanse my system?
i am going in for a colonoscopy tomorrow and have been told to drink 2 liters of medication to clear the colon
however I am finding it really hard to drink and keep gagging on it I have taken half the solution and my stool is clear (due to the fact that Iv been having running diarrhea for 3 weeks..so the solution didnt really have to do much to clear my bowels
I had a colonoscopy today, and started eating again when I got home. After eating dinner I felt like I had to poop and I had diarrhea. Is this normal? Should I keep eating as normal? Should I take anything for it?
Could really use some help finiding somewhere that gives free or low-cost colonoscopy screenings or something similar to it and physical exams. Thanks…
I have to have a colonoscopy done Thursday. They said I will have conscious sedation. The paperwork says I will be given a sedative and pain meds through an IV before they start. Anyone know what sedatives & pain medicines they give you? I wonder b/c I have had 16 surgeries and a lot of pain medicines and sedatives have no affect on me. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
