He is not able to poop. He has been pooping little hard balls for the past week. Not a real good bowel movement, just little balls. What should I do to help him pass? I have just read to not give him rice cereal, applesauce, or bananas for a few days. So I am going to give him carrots, prunes, pears, and sweet potatoes. He is formula fed, for the past 2 months. He won’t drink water from a sippy or bottle. Will these foods work? Is constipation dangerous in babies? When should I worry?
I called the doc and we used a babylax. He went in about 10 seconds after we gave it to him! I know he feels better now. Thanks for your advice. I hope to avoid this in the future by watering down his rice cereal and give plenty of the P foods.

I figured it would be great timing because I will be restricted to an all-liquid diet for a few days anyway, but I wanted to make sure that the cleanse wouldn’t interfere with the anesthesia and vice versa. Let me clarify: I have ALREADY decided to do the cleanse, I’m looking for input about the timing ONLY.

They both had a fever the morning after they ate the pears, but it went away quickly and otherwise they act normal (not sick).

My mother in law says they just got cold, but I’m afraid it might be a bacteria or parasite. Anyone have any similiar experience?
