In the last month I have noticed a problem after certain food I eat or certain items I drink. I ate a salad and a hamburg and like 15 minutes later my chest (in the middle of my chest) started to get painfull….then a few weeks ago I had pizza and a Smirinoff Ice (my favorite drink) and the same thing happened. Then tonight I had salad and and a piece of chicken and Smirnoff Ice and 15 minutes later my chest started to hurt again. I am thinking this may be my Gall Bladder, but my husband said it quite possibly can be gas (acid build up etc), but I have NEVER had this happen to me and I don’t understand why all of a sudden it just shows up! HELP!

I had my gall bladder removed 4 years ago, it had gang- green in it. I have had problems with loose stools, with certain type of foods like lettuce, anything that has any grease in it, within minutes I will have to find a bathroom and if I do not it is not good—-accident. I am so tired of the stuff, it turns me off of food. The foods I love I can not eat any more. Sometime I will not know if what I am going to eat will bother me. I would like to know if this is normal or if it is just me. I had my surgery the hard way, that they split my stomach open.

I had my gall bladder removed 1 1/2 years ago. Lately, I really have a lot of stomach upset, gas, and nausia. I am a 64 year old woman in good health but this has me puzzled. If it is because of the removal of the gall bladder, is there anything I can take to neutralize the gas? HELP!

Ok I am going to the DR tomorrow, i think I am having gall bladder attcks. I have been thinking that I was just having pain in my back, but I noticed that I have pain right underneath my ribcage that radiates through my chest, and around to my back across the middle and shoulder blade. And this doesnt hurt all day and it starts hurting like 4 or 5 in the evening. I have not been getting sick though just in pain.
Does this sound like a gall bladder attack???

I’ve been getting attacks of pain under my rib cage on the right side after I eat, and it radiates into my back at times. It’s usually daily.. it also feels as if I can’t swallow. Nausea is present as well. Any suggestions what it could be? I’m going for an Endoscopy next week, and an ultra sound of my liver and gall bladder the following. Does this sound Gall Bladder related? Thanks for your input.

She removed the thyroid and a part of lymp nodes under her right arm at 11/5. Doc’s find 2 tiny tumors (about 1/4 of an inch each one) to the bottom of her liver and removed them at 30/5. They also find some tiny tumors to her gall bladder and removed the gall bladder also. So, now the tests show that she is clear (or she has something more that it is so small that scans can’t show it to us). She starded radiation today and next week she will do kimotherapy at list for 12 days. What are the prognosis for this. If the tests show she is clear after 5 years, she complitly out of danger or this is a battle we have to give for the rest of our lifes?

I had my gall bladder removed when I was 21. I recently threw up and it was all bile (sorry for the TMI). If I don’t have a gall bladder anymore, where does it come from? My understanding was that that was the gall bladder’s function.
