Is it safe to do a liver cleanse if my gallbladder has already been taken out? I lost a great deal of weight a while back and developed gallstones, so my gallbladder was removed.
It seems that liver and gall cleanses are tightly related. So is it safe to do a liver cleanse without a gallbladder? Any in particular someone would recommend?

What is the difference between kidney stone and gallstone? What is the difference in treatment? What are the options for treatment other than surgery? Can we drink water to flush out gallstones?

I have been told that I have gallstones and that I need my gallbladder removed. I am trying to hold off on surgery until I can get insurance. I was stupid and ate something new for the holidays. Some type of bread. Omg I had the worst attack of pain ever! The day after I started my period and it is extremely heavy. Is this connected?

Last month I had my gallbladder removed because of gallstones and so far have been doing very well but I’m concerned about how the body compensates for not having a gall bladder? Am I more susceptible to high cholesterol? Pancreatitis? Osteoporisis? etc… Is it important that I take certain vitamin supplements?
I’m really interested in medical facts as well as personal experiences.

I recently had an EUS (a scope they put down your throat to see inside)done of my stomach and gallbladder. I was told I had many gallstones and sludge in and on my gallbladder. I am going for an ultrasound of my gallbladder next week to see if my doctor wants to send me to a surgeon. What exactly is gallsludge and gallstones and what are the effects of both? I have been researches and found plenty on gallstones but nothing on sludge. Please help.

I have moderate discomfort, textbook for gallstone attack, and ultrasound reveals 2 gallstones in my gal bladder. However, the lining of the gall bladder is not currently inflamed. So, if it’s not inflamed, how is it causing me pain? Can they still cause pain even when not inflamed?

I may have gallstones, to be confirmed with a scan.I have had severe burning in my stomach, vomiting and retching lasting 24 hours.
I am left with a very painful stomach, feeling very bruised especially on the right. At the start, I also had a burning under my right shoulder.
Have you had an operation to remove the gallbladder?
I would love to hear from you if you have suffered this please!

I have 2 gallstones, floating around in my gallbladder. Ultrasound shows they are not in the duct and there is no inflammation present. Can there mere presence cause pain? Doesn’t the gall bladder contract, which would squeeze the stones whether or not they are in the duct?
My doc scheduled surgery to have gall bladder removed, but I’m confused at where the pain is coming from since it’s not in the duct and there is no inflammation.

All the natural remedies for gallstones I have come across include this huge amount of olive oil - which I believe is what you are actually passing, along with a bunch of bile. I would like to find a remedy that doesn’t include the Olive oil for control purposes.
If anyone has a plan or website for this, it would be greatly appreciated.

My wife has gallstones and has been warned by her doctor not to eat foods with oil, or even many veggies. What would be good for her to eat? Most of the things she wants to eat are on the list the doctor is forbidding because they can make her sick.
HELP!

My wife just found out she has Gallstones. She’s currently 5 months pregnant and has to drastically change her diet. What I want to know is what foods would be highly recommended for someone who just loves fast food. Please take in mind that she is not overweight. Any response would be appreciated.

I know that in bad cases, it can obstruct your bile duct. Is it possible for the gallstones to spread as high up as your esophagus?
