Since around February 6th to now I have been experiencing Abdominal pain(especially on lower left and right abdomen), bowel changes( constipation, diarrhea, normal), nausea(on occasion). I went to the pediatrician doctor February 18 and took a blood and urine test and nothing was wrong. Doctor suggested I just had a stomach bug that would pass quickly. I went to my university doctor March 17 and was told it most likely was irritable bowel syndrome or lactose intolerance but she was not sure and told me to see a gastreontologist (stomach doctor).
I wanted to get more information from others with IBS. I am 18 and female. I have lost weight(3 lbs) from changing my diet. Just recently( a week) I completely changed it to mostly soluble fiber and insoluble and practically no milk. I feel like my symptoms happen so often that it cannot be IBS.
Is this IBS or something else?

ive been having a lot of stomach issues along with me having ibs and gerd too. i do have a hiatal hernia. the doctor said my symptoms resemble gall bladder problems so i had a ultra sound and was scheduled to have a hida scan but my doctor cancelled it. so i was just wanting an opinion why it would be cancelled.

I have been with my partner almost 4 years and he has a bad case of irritable bowel syndrome. Also he gets trapped air which causes him great pain and his burps are really long. I wondered what’s available for him to take to relieve this. He always seems to be in pain and it gets in the way of everythin. The doctor said his ibs gets worse when he is nervous. I’m dreading the birth of out child next year. Poor thing. Does anyone have anythin similar?

i’m 5’3 and 122 Ibs . I’m thinking about eating only 500 calories a day for the two weeks and drinking water only. I’m trying mostly for my thighs and chubby cheeks.

I was diagnosed with IBS when I was twelve.. I am not turning fourteen. I had stomach problems way before I had ever even went to the doctor about it. I hate my stomach , i’m only a kid.. My doctor said it was caused by getting nervous all the time like I did. She said It wasn’t good for my body,what can I do to calm the pain?

I’m going into my sophmore year and j was a little fatty freshman year. I was probably 145 ibs. I want to be at most 126 before next year. I’ve been trying to lose weigh all summer but nothings working. School starts in a little over. Month. HELP ME!!:/. Please.

Can I still have gallstones if they say that my blood work looks great? I’ve been having these "attacks" for 20 months and after all my research I believe I have gallstones, but the nurses at the ER seem to think different.
The nurse thinks it’s just IBS (Irritable Boul Syndrome), but I have know people with IBS and mine is a whole lot worse with vomiting.

I have a chronic case of IBS, I’ve been to many doctors & no one seems to help me. I heard somewhere that medical marijuana helps relieve symptoms. What do I do to get information on this?

So I suffer from IBS but it gets embarrassing when my friends stay over at weekends or if I stay at there place and I get bad wind! (Sounds funny but its true!) And I heard having an imodium before going out drinking can help the stomach next day??… Any hints or tips would be GREATLY appreciated!
