I am CONSTANTLY in the bathroom. At first I was thinking that it was just my period. But I have been keeping a closer eye on it, and it seems to be all the time. I haven’t changed my diet at all. The only difference in anything is that I had a baby in December. But this didn’t start until February or March. Could it be IBS all of a sudden?
I have no medical insurance.

My insurance doesn’t cover this procedure. How much does it cost? The doctor’s office won’t tell me what a simple screening costs.

I had a colonoscopy last year and received 2 separate bills for anesthesiologists. (Both of which were denied by my insurance.) When I called to inquire, I was told that I should have only requested 1 for the procedure. How is someone supposed to know they would automatically get 2? I’m stuck with 2 at 0 a pop!
I was only out for 15-20 minutes. I was told after being billed that one was a nurse and the other was an anesthesiologist. I just don’t understand why it was necessary to be charged for 2 on a very simple procedure. It must be "normal" to have 2 present. (My health insurance didn’t even cover 10% of the roughly ,000 it cost for the procedure.)
I didn’t even want the procedure and had no idea how much cost was involved. I wasn’t aware that I could have requested to have no anesthesia. I didn’t even "NEED" the procedure. It was done to rule out any internal problem causing tailbone pain. I’m just angry because I never would have had it done. The surgeon said it would be half the cost of having it done in a hospital. 00 is HALF of what I could have been charged? Yeah, right.

If he hasnt ate any fat he dosnt hurt so he has been on a fat free or very little fat diet but lately hes been nauseated and cant eat is it a virus or gall bladder issues. His diets been very very good and he dosnt have pain.
he is going if he dosnt get better ashley but for your info we dont have insurance and he is laid off. If its just a virus we would let it pass. Why dont you just not comment to people if you have nothing informative to say?

should he only be taking it during a flare-up or as a preventitive? We don’t have insurance and it is costing us every 3 weeks!!! HELP!
He was prescribed to take it 600 mg 3xday. The thing is though is we are uninsured and each prescription only lasts for 3 weeks. So we are paying .00 every 3 weeks. We make 0 too much to qualify for patient assist programs.

Just had a colonoscopy but now have to have barium enima because colonoscopy would not check everything. Had barium enema several yrs ago and was very simple (done in doctor’s office) doctor and nurse. Colonoscopy was done at hospital surgical wing. A bunch of nurses, etc. Much more involved. Same thing for wife a few yrs ago. As an added thoght Is this a scam for goughing insurance?
Clarifyy question: why do
a colonoscopy that may not answer problems and then do a barium enema. Why not do the barium enema first?

My dad is visiting from outside the US and therefore does not have insurance. Its been confirmed he has two large kidney stones, the pain is excruciating. I am scared of what it might cost. I am not even working right now, I just graduated and waiting to take my state board exam. Does anybody know where we can get it cheap and good? My dad is suffering.
