I have a friend who is an alcholoic. She also suffers from hypertension and anxiety and panic attacks. She is on a host of meds for the hypertension and ativan for the anxiety and panic attaacks.
She wants to stop drinking but cannot find a hospital due to her insurance. She also doesnt have the money to go to a rehab hospital so I was curious what meds they would give her, and if she can do this by possibly increasing the ativan
Well , i was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis around 10 years ago , i never bothered with taking my medcation until now & i dont have insurance on myself . every month it’s 400 dollars to get my prescription refilled and i can’t afford it . Is there a website to contact someone or is there a website for cheaper medications?
thank you <3
I went on line and purchased a detox kit. I haven’t smoked for about 6 weeks. I have an exam scheduled for next week. Has anyone tried those detox kits? Do they really work? Or what do I have to do to make sure that nicotine is not in my system. I believe that I will have blood drawn and a urine test done that night.
The life insurance is obviously not for me I will be dead when it is collected and FYI I do not plan on smoking ever again… And have no plans on dieing anytime soon either. For a smoker it is more than double a non smoker rate. Again I vow to NEVER smoke again…
Ive been having blood in my bowels for two years now on and off and I think its time to see whats going on. Im 21 year old male, pretty active I work and try to eat healthy. How much would one of those be without medical insurance? WHat can I do?
I don’t want to gamble with my health but I have to get a Colonoscopy and I have no health insurance. So If anyone knows a bargain. I’ve been told it was going to cost ,000. That a lot for me. I live in CA, Long Beach.
I have had spasms of pain in my lower side for a few months. I have gone to the doctor several times, been misdiagnosed several times and taken more medicines than i can count. I have no idea what is wrong with me so my doctor suggested a colonoscopy. I am 48 so i know the time when i should have one anyways is nearing. I was just wondering is one necessary for the condition im experiencing? They are expensive i have no insurance and i can’t really afford one that’s why i ask.
How much would a colonoscopy cost if you don’ have any health insurance? I need one but we can’t afford it. My husband’s job offers insurance but it cost 5 a month and there is no way we could afford it. I hear those things are expensive, even for people with insurance but they are very useful. Thank you
I have been suffering from gall bladder problems for about 3 years now. When it first started happening, I didn’t getting the vomiting so when I went to the ER because I seriously thought I was having a heart attack, the ER doctor said I had Pulisi (sorry, I can’t spell that), inflammation of the chest lining. Of course the minute I lose my health insurance, the symptoms worsened and the vomiting began. I ended up going to a "free" clinic of sorts, where they ran tests and said I did have gall bladder stones, and it really should be removed, but there is no way without my insurance to have it done.
I have tried to keep it under control with diet. But I still get the flair ups about once a month or so. I can usually tell within about 5 minutes of eating something, if I’m going to have a flair up within that night.
Last night I put my fork down and said, tonight is going to be one of those nights. So we are wondering if there is anything that can help reduce the pain.
I am CONSTANTLY in the bathroom. At first I was thinking that it was just my period. But I have been keeping a closer eye on it, and it seems to be all the time. I haven’t changed my diet at all. The only difference in anything is that I had a baby in December. But this didn’t start until February or March. Could it be IBS all of a sudden?
I have no medical insurance.
i have pain on my left side under my ribcage, and i can’t sleep. I don’t have insurance and i’m scared
My insurance doesn’t cover this procedure. How much does it cost? The doctor’s office won’t tell me what a simple screening costs.
I had a colonoscopy last year and received 2 separate bills for anesthesiologists. (Both of which were denied by my insurance.) When I called to inquire, I was told that I should have only requested 1 for the procedure. How is someone supposed to know they would automatically get 2? I’m stuck with 2 at 0 a pop!
I was only out for 15-20 minutes. I was told after being billed that one was a nurse and the other was an anesthesiologist. I just don’t understand why it was necessary to be charged for 2 on a very simple procedure. It must be "normal" to have 2 present. (My health insurance didn’t even cover 10% of the roughly ,000 it cost for the procedure.)
I didn’t even want the procedure and had no idea how much cost was involved. I wasn’t aware that I could have requested to have no anesthesia. I didn’t even "NEED" the procedure. It was done to rule out any internal problem causing tailbone pain. I’m just angry because I never would have had it done. The surgeon said it would be half the cost of having it done in a hospital. 00 is HALF of what I could have been charged? Yeah, right.
I should have a colonoscopy, I have an insurance for emergencies but they won’t cover it. I will pay it myself, the problem is that my insurance won’t cover any posible complications either. can I get some kind of insurance for that?
how much did your health insurance bill you for treatment for hospitalization during flare , and the monthly premium for your insurance is how much?
