What are the advantages to doing a body detox?

I have been hearing about body detox kits and I am curious as to what it does for the body and when it would be appropriate…I am wondering if it would make me feel better and how. I don’t feel sick my body just feels heavy. My body just feels worn and just really heavy. It’s hard to explain but I’m only 23 years old and I feel like my body is just crying out for help. I am not that big either 5’3" and 115lbs. If it is worth it what body detox kits are best for women? Is there even a difference. I want to cleanse my body and then keep up with it…perhaps start eating foods with less chemicals and more organic meals. Any recommendations on that. Another question, what do wheat grass shots do for the body? I am not sure what to do to refresh my body…any suggestions would be great!! :)

How to get weed out of your system?

I have about two or three weeks to get weed out of my system for a urine test. I’ve heard if water, niacin, cranberry juice and detox kits. What works effectively and is realistic for a working person? Oh and we know the obvious "shouldn’t smoke to begin with" bit, a little late for that now.. Thanks in advance

I’m 5’6" and I weigh 121.5 pounds. I’m 18 years old, and I’m still in college. :D My waistline is 28.5" and my hips measure 33.5", in case it helps.

My stretch marks appear behind my thighs, near my butt, and on the top, front part of my thighs. They aren’t very obvious, but it’s visible when I wear a bikini.

I’ve tried using Nivea’s Goodbye Cellulite for about a month, but I stopped because I didn’t really see any difference, and because I misplaced it. :D

So, are there any proven methods you use to reduce cellulite? Something natural,for example, oats or the like. Or a massage technique perhaps? Personal experience would be highly valued. Thank you very much!

Edit: It’s actually kinda lumpy where there are stretch marks on my behind. :O

At my work place we have started to get employess to work on their health and fitness. We have had some "Biggest Loser" competitions and now since we all know that people tend to overdo it thru the holidays, we are now having another weight loss competition. The good thing is that everyone can win. All you have to do is lose 5 or more pounds and you win 0.00. The initial weigh in was November 23 and the final weigh in is January 4. I tend to go up and down a few pounds thru the week and I exercise regularly and try to eat healthy. I want to know how I can kick start my weight loss by getting a cleanse or detox product to rid my body of all the crap and continue healthy so I can lose the 5 pounds or more and keep it off. I havent taken any product before and know that if someone with some knowledge can help me I will most definitley be able to cash in come January. So all you health people, please let me know how I can kickstart my way.

Common as it is, in some cases it’s debilitating, and even if it isn’t, having it will severely reduce the quality of your life. I feel for the people who do have it, as I may have it myself – I’ll find out in a few weeks once the doctors have had their fun with me.

Why not assemble a team of gastrointerologists, neurologists, psychiatrists, immunologists, microbiologists, etc… and get to the bottom of this already?
We’ve mapped out the entire human genome – a cure for IBS can’t be too hard to find.

I am not sure whether the dosage ‘prescribed’ in the standard liver cleanse is well within ‘safe’ limits and I’ve searched the net and can’t find anything concrete. I would appreciate some advice on this…
Ok…so so far people responding are just telling me they don’t believe in the liver cleanse or toxins etc…though none have stated their sources or credentials in making such statements! Or even saying that they cause harm but citing no sources (even anecdotal) for that assertion. I kind of expected better.

None have answered the actual question: Regardless of your opinion of cleanses/toxins blah blah blah, "what is the highest safe dosage of epsom (magnesium sulphate) salts’?

I hope someone replies to the actual question soon! :) Thank you for taking the time to check this out.

Maybe I have a gas problem, maybe I don’t. I read an article that said that the average person passes gas 14-20 times a day. If that is the case, what do you do if you have to go to a meeting at work or sit in someone’s office? A car, the movies etc.

Do people get gas at work? This is ruining my life because I am scared to be around people in tight places (other than at home of course).

If I get nervous, I get gas. Going to meeting, makes me neverous, so it’s a vicious cycle.
If I get nervous I also have to go sit on the "John".

Since I dont do cheerleading anymore and ive been out of high school, I have noticed im getting cellulite on the backs of my thighs. I know exercise to target that area will help, so I am doing that. But how soon will I see results? I am also wondering if the creams really work and how long it will take for the cellulite to go away if i apply it as directed, like 2 times a day? Tell me about your nasty cellulite experiences please!

Can I still have gallstones if they say that my blood work looks great? I’ve been having these "attacks" for 20 months and after all my research I believe I have gallstones, but the nurses at the ER seem to think different.
The nurse thinks it’s just IBS (Irritable Boul Syndrome), but I have know people with IBS and mine is a whole lot worse with vomiting.

I’m only 5’0 and a little on the thick side. Before the 2 weeks, I only smoked on the weekends, like a couple hits here and there. I have also been drinking tons of water, to the point where my pee is almost clear. I also took a "at home drug test" & passed with a very faint line. Am I going to pass?

Do marijuana detox kits actually work?




I was wondering if anyone could give me an answer from personal experience as to whether or not marijuana detox kits work (for urine tests in particular)… I’m not talking about the "Take this the day of your drug test and have a four hour window" detox. I’m talking about the 1-2 week long regiments which are supposed to permanently clean out your system. If you’ve used one and had success please tell me what kind, how much it cost, and how long the process took. Also, if you have any other methods (with some basis to them, not just random things that you’ve heard of), I’m open to suggestions.

How can a teenage girl lose belly fat?




I just noticed my belly fat this year. I have made numerous changes to try and lose my "muffin top" for about a month now, but it is just not working. I have eliminated unhealthy foods such as pastries and oils from my diet, and am carefully watching my calorie and fat intake. I have also been jogging most days of the week for about half an hour, sometimes even longer if I have time. Do you have any suggestions on how I can successfully lose stomach fat as quickly as possible?
