It might sound extremely cliche but if You’re looking for great foods to help You burn fat and at therefore show off Your abs then it’s best to avoid simple carbohydrates such as white bread & white processed rice. This is because when You eat them Your body immediately turns them into sugars which would then mean that You have calories to be burnt. If You’re not in a work out Your body will end up storing these calories as fat.
The most important thing about foods that will lead to You burning fat while eating them is that it should make Your body use energy while processing them. When it comes to carbohydrates these would include brown bread, pita breads, brown rice, cous cous and many many more I can’t list here but You can find out about with a tiny bit of research : ). It is also great to add spices and chillies to Your meals as those also aid with the burning of fat, ha ha excuse the pun (but it’s true).
Lean meats are a wonderful source of protein and also will help You build muscle if eaten about a half an our after a work out. Another thing I would suggest is doing some weight training as since it costs a body calories to run bigger muscles You’ll actually be burning fat even while You’re just walking around.
