What symptoms do you have with IBS?
I am asking this because I think I have it. I have been to the doctor several times and even had a colonoscopy about 11 months ago. I have diarrhea maybe twice a week. Sometimes after spicy food and sometimes after regular food. I hate having this, and what can I do to make it stop? I am just wondering if anyone else has this same problem?
also the symptoms are much worse during my period. Does endometriosis cause diarrhea at other times and not just during the period?

Hi,
I sympathise with you, I have had bouts of IBS on and off for years. I felt you just had to live with it and was a bit embarassed to actually to tell anyone.
I have found that eating higher fibre foods, drinking water regularly (not lots – just regularly) concentrating on my diet adding a bit of exercise and generally ‘acting healthy’ helped a lot. I cannot say this actually resolved it completely, but it was a lot better once I took control of my health properly.
I personally think, IBS is a modern stress related problem which is aggravated by poor erratic diets and not really looking after ourselves properly.
I would tone down the spice levels a little in your food for a while, these can aggravate the gut further. Keep food mild – not too many chillies!
I actually took colon cleansing tablets as well and I have to say, these really helped me to practically stop all my attacks. I rarely have any problems now. However they do cost quite a bit. Look around for a free trial and see if they help. You can do all these things without being officially diagnosed with IBS – healthy eating, water, exercise and colon cleansing tablets wont hurt you at all!
Just give it a little time and you will see a big difference.
I cannot comment of the concern you have over endometriosis as I dont know anything about that, but it does sound to me as if you have IBS. then again, I am not a doctor!
If you feel stressed as well it may be worth addressing that issue too – what can you do to destress – there must be some small things you can improve somehow..? Try my tips and see if theres any improvement.
Best of Luck
i might have IBS, i still have to get an endoscopy and a colonoscopy and you mgiht have it if your tests didn’t show anything. Reduce your stress, stick to a healthy diet
