When you take a drug test for employment can they test to see if your pregnant?

I am 4 1/2 months pregnant. I went for a job interview they said I have the job if I pass the drug test and background check. No problem there. I just want to know if they can test to see if I am pregnant. By federal law they can’t discriminate against me if I am, so I never brought it up. Can they also test for pregnancy even though its a drug test?

They legally cannot perform any other test other than what they disclosed to you. If they DO happen to test you for anything other than drugs then they are violating your privacy AND discriminating
They have no reason to test if you are pregnant or not. But, you should be up front about it. Are you planning on taking time off after the birth? Just remember, you are not covered under FMLA. You need to be there for at least 1 year before your job is protected by FMLA. Not being up front about it may come back to bite you later. They hired you to do a job, and if you can’t do it because of the pregnancy and/or the birth, they may fire you for it.
