why can’t i give plasma if i have slight irritable bowel syndrome?

i went in to donate plasma and they asked if i had diarrhea regularly. i do have it semi regularly so i went and got a doctor to check it out. he just said (after a stool sample etc.) that i just have slight IBS. the plasma center then said i couldn’t give… why is this?

IBS causes dehydration……..
if you donate plasma/blood, it gives you slight ‘hypovolemia’.
if you combine both conditions… its dangerous for you…
