why is it that ulcerative colitis causes one to have diarrhea every hour , so you can't even sleep?
What is going on inside of your body that is doing this?
Every hour at night for the past month while sleeping about 3 ounces of wet diarrhea comes out and you can barely make it to the toilet fast enough, why doesn’t it all just stay in your body and then come out one time during the day, why a little bit every hour, so that your going to the bathroom around 15 times per night ?

I think it would be because the lining of the intestine is so irritated that it hurries things through. Normally, there is a nice mucous membrane in the intestines. This protects it. With colitis, the lining has eroded and the actual membranes would come in contact with the waste material. That is very irritating and causes it to make it go through much faster in order to try to protect it. You need to go to a good gastroenterologist who can give you the proper medication for this. My daughter uses some steroid medications during especially bad flare-ups. This helps to heal the intestine. Try finding out whether you have any food sensitivities such as wheat or dairy. Once you have the flare-up under control, you can try removing these from your diet and see if you go longer before having problems. Make sure you get a doctor you feel comfortable with and can help you. Don’t let the diarrhea continue because this is bad for you in many ways.
